To get started with a Self-Service Corporate Account, create a Grubhub account at www.grubhub.com/corporate/signup

If you already have a Grubhub account, you can log in using the same username and password you use on www.grubhub.com

Step 1: Fill out business details

Fill out your business information. Please note that the business name you provide must be unique and cannot already exist. If you get an error message saying the business name already exists, please create a different business name. If necessary, you can add values like V1 or V2 to make the name unique.

Make sure to enter a valid phone number in case we need to contact you.

Step 2: Create a line of credit

In step 2 of the signup flow, set up your line of credit.

A line of credit is the amount of money the people on your account can use. You’re able to set the desired credit amount allocated to each person, the duration of the line of credit (the amount of time a person has to spend the money allocated to them) and if the budget is one-time or recurring. After you’ve completed the signup process, you can make edits to your line of credit at any time by logging into your admin portal.

Please note that the maximum amount you can extend to each person on one line of credit is $800.

Step 3: Add people to your line of credit

In step 3 of the signup flow, you can add people to your line of credit by uploading a CSV or adding people individually. You can also skip this step and add people to your line of credit after you complete the signup process. Once you add people to the line of credit, it is ready for use.

To add people add people individually, simply click the “Add individually” option. From there, you can add a new person by providing his/her contact information and clicking “Add.”

For your convenience, download our template to use when uploading via CSV. You’ll need to input the person’s first and last name, email address and phone number into the CSV file. If you don’t want to share the person’s phone number, please input a nonvalid number (e.g. 123-456-7890).

You can upload as little or as many people as you like (max: 4,000 people per CSV upload).

To feed larger teams, please fill out the support form on corporate.grubhub.com/contact-us and a representative will reach out to you to discuss our Enterprise Corporate offering.

Step 4: Payment

In step 4 of the signup flow, you will provide your payment information.

A valid credit card is required to create a line of credit. Once people begin placing orders, your credit card will only be charged for the amount that you’ve designated for each person.

The 6% transaction fee covers the cost of your Grubhub Corporate account. 6% will be calculated based on the line of credit charge per order (inclusive of charges for tax, tip and fees), but any overage will not be charged the transaction fee. For example, if the order total is $30, and $20 is paid for by line of credit and $10 is paid for by a personal credit card, only the $20 will be charged the transaction fee.

Once an order is placed, the credit card on file will be charged for the credit spent plus a 6% transaction fee on the portion that is paid for by line of credit on each order, not the total. For example, if the line of credit is $30, and a person spends $20, only the $20 will be charged the transaction fee.

If you receive an error message from us that your order could not be processed, please verify that your bank does not need any additional confirmation from you to accept the charge.

If you or someone using the credit has trouble when placing an order, please get in touch with your bank for additional support.

Step 5: Confirmation

In step 5 of the signup flow, you’ll see a confirmation page to review your details.

Once you confirm everything is correct, click “Submit” and you’ll see a pop-up like this:

Once your Self-Service Corporate Account has been created, you’ll receive a confirmation email. The email also includes helpful information about how to get started with your account.

As part of the confirmation step, we recommend notifying your bank and letting them know that your credit card will experience higher than usual activity.

To access your account anytime, visit www.grubhub.com and sign in. Click on your name in the top-right corner and click “Business account” (the briefcase icon).
