In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage month, Grubhub is supporting and celebrating our AAPI-owned restaurant partners in collaboration with the National ACE, the Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
Over the past year AAPI-owned restaurants across the country have been impacted by the pandemic and rising levels of intolerance and racism. To support these restaurants that are the heart of communities across America, we’re partnering with National ACE to provide grants to AAPI-owned restaurants impacted by the pandemic. During May, all proceeds from Grubhub’s Donate the Change program will benefit National ACE and AAPI-owned restaurants across the nation.
Grubhub’s Donate the Change feature allows customers to make a difference by simply opting-in to round up the change on their orders. Grubhub also matches Donate the Change contributions by Grubhub+ members. Last year, Grubhub customers across the country donated more than $21 million dollars to various organizations and communities in need of support. This May we invite customers to opt-in to Donate the Change and support AAPI-owned restaurants.
We’re excited to share the food and inspiration behind several of our AAPI restaurateurs.– and celebrate the power of food to bring people together. Meet the restaurant owners behind Sam Wo, Tay Ho, Adda and F.O.B.
